  2. Next, you’ll need a good deep’ish glass bowl that is oven friendly to cook it in. 🍲

  3. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) for this dish, although with experience, you can choose your own setting based on your oven’s behavior.

  4. Slice potatoes thinly and layer them in the dish, adding the odd peppercorn according to taste.

  5. In a mixing bowl, combine half part double cream and half part milk. Add salt to the mixture.

  6. Cover the sliced potatoes with the milk/cream mixture in the dish.

  7. Place the dish in the preheated oven and leave it for roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the potatoes are cooked through and the top is golden brown and bubbly.
