Pasta with Shrimp in Tomato Cream Recipe π

Ingredients:
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/3 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup dry vermouth
- 1 pound bow tie pasta
- 10 fresh basil leaves, chiffonade
- Shaved Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:

Prepare Ingredients:
- Mince the garlic.
- Peel and devein the shrimp.
- Thinly slice the green onion.
- Chop the sun-dried tomatoes.
- Chiffonade the basil leaves.

Cook Shrimp:
- In a 12-inch frying pan over medium-high heat, add oil and minced garlic.
- Once hot and sizzling, add the shrimp to the pan.
- Cook the shrimp, stirring constantly until they are opaque in the center, which should take no more than 6 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.

- In the same pan, add sliced green onion, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, white pepper, chicken broth, dry vermouth, and cream.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, leaving it uncovered, until it’s reduced to about 1 1/2 cups, which should take around 10 minutes.

- Meanwhile, cook the bow tie pasta in boiling water until it’s done, which usually takes around 8 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain the pasta well.

Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked shrimp back into the sauce and stir until they are heated through.
- Add the drained pasta to the cooked sauce and toss lightly until the pasta is coated evenly.

- Serve the pasta with shrimp in tomato cream immediately.
- Offer shaved Parmesan cheese and chiffonade basil at the table for garnishing according to taste.
