  • Ginger – 1 inch

  • Whole Wheat Flour – 1/2 cup
  • Kala jeera – 2 teaspoons
  • Salt – to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the Ingredients

    • Rinse the Arhar dal thoroughly.
    • Soak the dal along with coriander seeds and kala jeera in water for at least 2 hours.
  2. Prepare the Batter

    • After soaking, drain the water and grind the dal mixture with green chilies, ginger, and a little water to create a smooth batter.
    • Transfer the batter to a bowl, add the wheat flour, and mix well.
    • Adjust the batter consistency by adding water until it resembles traditional dosa batter.
  3. Cook the Dosa

    • Heat a skillet or non-stick tawa on medium heat.
    • Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and spread it evenly in a circular motion from the center outward.
