Instructions:

- Soak the cut flower strips in the buttermilk water to prevent darkening.
- Wash them thoroughly and cook in the same buttermilk water until they are soft.
- Drain the cooked banana flowers.

- Grind the cooked banana florets along with red chilies, turmeric powder, grated coconut, broken chana dal, and fennel powder.
- Add a minimal amount of water while grinding to form a smooth paste.

- Add salt and asafoetida to taste, ensuring the vada batter is thick in consistency.
