Beef Steak with Crispy BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
- Beef steak, boiled until tender and flattened
- 1 egg
- Delmonte BBQ sauce
- Tomato sauce
- Soy sauce
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Black pepper
- 1 sachet of Royco beef or chicken seasoning
- Hot & spicy all-purpose flour
- Carrots
- Green beans
- Salt
Instructions:

-
Prepare the Beef Marinade:
- Mince the garlic cloves and mix them with the egg.
- Add the beef steak to this mixture, ensuring it is well-coated, and let it marinate to absorb the flavors.
-
Cook the Vegetables:
- Chop the carrots and green beans into bite-sized pieces.
- Boil the vegetables in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
-
Make the BBQ Sauce:
- In a non-stick pan, combine the BBQ sauce, soy sauce, tomato sauce, and one minced clove of garlic.
- Add a little water and stir the mixture until it thickens to a desirable consistency. Set aside.
-
Prepare the Flour Mixtures:
- Divide the hot & spicy all-purpose flour into two bowls: one for the wet batter and one for the dry coating.
- For the wet batter, mix the flour with enough water to create a smooth, thick batter.
-
Coat the Beef:
- Take the marinated beef and dip it into the wet batter, ensuring it is fully covered.
- Then, roll the beef in the dry flour mixture. For extra crispiness, you can repeat the process: dip again in the wet batter and then in the dry flour mixture. (You can skip this second coating if you prefer a lighter coating.)
-
Fry the Beef:
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a frying pan.
- Once the oil is hot, add the coated beef steaks and fry until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure they are cooked through.
-
Serve:
- Plate the crispy beef steaks alongside the boiled carrots and green beans.
- Drizzle the thickened BBQ sauce over the steaks.
- Serve hot to enjoy the full crispy texture.
Enjoy your delicious Beef Steak with Crispy BBQ Sauce, perfect for a delightful meal that brings the flavors of a barbecue into your kitchen.
