Beef Crispy Steak with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 medium beef steaks
- 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 5 green beans, cut into strips
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 box UHT full cream (100 ml)
- 1 teaspoon Saori oyster sauce
- Sugar, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- ½ teaspoon soy sauce
- Ground chili powder, to taste
- 3 tablespoons Sasa all-purpose flour (diluted)
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt, to taste
- Cooking oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Beef:
- Gently pound the beef steaks until they are thin and tender. Marinate the beef with ground chili powder, salt, and Saori oyster sauce. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
-
Prepare the Potatoes:
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly, leaving the skin on for added flavor and texture. Cut them into wedges. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato wedges until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
-
Prepare the Vegetables:
- Briefly blanch the carrot and green beans in boiling water until they are tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
-
Prepare the Beef Coating:
- Dip each marinated beef steak into diluted all-purpose flour, then coat it in dry all-purpose flour. Repeat this process twice to ensure a crispy coating. Fry the coated beef in hot oil for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until the coating is golden brown and the beef is cooked through. Set aside.
-
Make the Mushroom Sauce:
- Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until they are translucent. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become fragrant.
- Pour in 100 ml of UHT full cream and stir well. Add Saori oyster sauce, ground black pepper, soy sauce, and sugar. Adjust the seasoning to taste. Simmer the sauce until it thickens slightly.
-
Assemble the Dish:
- Place the crispy beef steaks on a serving plate. Arrange the fried potato wedges, blanched vegetables, and pour the mushroom sauce over the beef. Serve hot and enjoy!
This dish combines crispy beef with a rich mushroom sauce, creating a delightful balance of textures and flavors that is sure to satisfy.
