Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
- 7 chicken wings, halved
- Marinade:
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Seasoning, to taste
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Chicken Wings:
- Begin by halving the chicken wings into drumettes and wingettes. Rinse them thoroughly using lemon to clean and remove any residual odors.
-
Marinate the Wings:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, chili sauce, honey, oyster sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 25 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Preheat the Oven:
- While the chicken wings are marinating, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it with butter or lining it with aluminum foil if butter is not available.
-
Bake the Wings:
- After 25 minutes, remove the chicken wings from the refrigerator. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through for even cooking.
-
Cool and Serve:
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Carefully lift the wings from the baking sheet and place them on a serving platter.
-
Optional Crisping:
- For extra crispiness, you can deep-fry the baked wings in hot oil over low heat until they reach the desired crunchiness. Ensure the oil is hot and plentiful for best results.
