Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken breast fillet
  • 2 slices of smoked beef
  • 250 grams bread crumbs
  • 2 Kraft Quick Melt cheeses
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the chicken breast fillets. Season them with salt and pepper to taste, then refrigerate for half a day to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.

  2. Prepare two slices of smoked beef and gently place them inside each chicken breast fillet, which should be sliced horizontally but not completely cut through. Add a slice of Kraft Quick Melt cheese inside each fillet along with the smoked beef.

  3. Once the fillets are stuffed, dip each one into a beaten egg mixture, then coat them with bread crumbs. For a crispier coating, dip them again in the egg mixture, followed by another coating of bread crumbs. Chill the coated fillets in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to help the coating set.

  4. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken fillets until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring that the cheese inside does not escape.

  5. Once cooked, drain the excess oil from the chicken fillets and cut them into portions. Serve hot, while the cheese is still melted, alongside your favorite tomato sauce and chili sauce for dipping.

Enjoy your delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu! 😊🍗
