Crispy Chicken Katsu with Spicy Tomato Oyster Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, thinly sliced, meat only
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 cup all-purpose flour

Seasoning Paste:

  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

Spicy Tomato Oyster Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Tomato sauce
  • Sambal sauce
  • Oyster sauce

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Seasoning Paste: Mix flour with water to form a thick paste. Add the seasoning paste and salt. Stir well.

  2. Coat the Chicken: Dip the thinly sliced chicken into the paste, then lift and coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. Freeze: Place in the freezer until firm. Then fry until golden brown.

  4. Prepare the Spicy Sauce: Heat 1 tablespoon of butter. Then enter the sambal sauce, tomato sauce, and oyster sauce. Add a little water to make the sauce thick. Wait until it boils, lift it up.

  5. Pour the sauce over the fried katsu chicken, serve warm.
