Crispy Potato & Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes (about 200 grams)
  • 300 grams chicken breast
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Breadcrumbs (for coating)
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potatoes and Chicken:

    • Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Place them in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, then drain and set aside.
    • Clean and cut the chicken breast into pieces. Boil the chicken in a separate pot until fully cooked. Drain and allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Make the Garlic Mixture:

    • While the potatoes and chicken are cooking, finely mince the garlic and mix it with the salt.
  3. Mash and Mix:

    • Once the chicken and potatoes have cooled down, mash them together until smooth.
    • Add the minced garlic mixture, ground black pepper, and cornstarch to the mashed potatoes and chicken. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
    • Incorporate the egg yolk into the mixture, stirring until fully blended.
  4. Shape the Nuggets:

    • Form the mixture into nugget shapes or according to your preference.
  5. Coat the Nuggets:

    • Roll each nugget in breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coating.
  6. Fry the Nuggets:

    • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
    • Fry the coated nuggets in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  7. Serve:

    • Remove the nuggets from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy your crispy potato and chicken nuggets!
