Fried Cilok with Egg

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 250 ml water
  • Seasoning powder
  • Salt
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Garlic Mixture: Finely mince the garlic cloves and mix with salt, seasoning powder, and ground black pepper. Dissolve this mixture in the water.

  2. Make the Batter: Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the garlic mixture, stirring continuously until well combined. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

  3. Cook the Batter: Heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring rapidly until it thickens. Remove from heat.

  4. Incorporate Tapioca Flour: Slowly add the tapioca flour to the thickened batter, stirring until fully combined. Knead the dough until smooth.

  5. Form the Cilok: Shape the dough into small balls and set aside.

  6. Cook the Cilok: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the cilok balls and cook until they are fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  7. Prepare for Frying: Heat a pan and lightly grease it with oil. Beat the eggs with a little pepper and seasoning powder.
