Sate Bawal: A Delightful Twist on Traditional Sate

						- 3 pomfret fish
- Tofu
- 3 tomatoes
- 5 shallots
- 3 drops of vinegar
- Bird’s eye chilies to taste
- Sweet soy sauce
Steps:
- 
Prepare the Fish: - Clean the pomfret fish thoroughly.
- Season the fish with salt and then fry until golden and cooked through.
 
- 
Prepare the Tofu: - Cut the tofu into small cubes.
- Season the tofu cubes with salt and coat them lightly with flour.
- Fry the tofu cubes until they are crispy and golden brown.
 
- 
Prepare the Sauce: - Coarsely crush the bird’s eye chilies and remove the seeds if desired for a milder taste.
- In a bowl, combine the crushed chilies, sliced shallots, chopped tomatoes, vinegar, and sweet soy sauce.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Combine and Serve: - Once the fish is fried, carefully remove the bones and flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the fish pieces into the prepared sauce and mix gently to ensure the fish is well coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the flavors reminiscent of traditional lamb sate, but with a healthier twist using pomfret fish.
