Crispy Beef Steak with Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Beef Steak: 400 grams, sliced lengthwise
  • Green Beans: As needed
  • Potatoes: As needed
  • Carrots: As needed
  • Sweet Corn: As needed
  • All-Purpose Flour: As needed
  • Eggs: As needed
  • Garlic: Minced
  • Ground Pepper: To taste
  • Lime or Lemon Juice: To taste
  • For the Sauce:
    • Garlic: Minced
    • Onion: Finely chopped
    • Ground Pepper: To taste
    • Salt: To taste
    • Seasoning Powder: To taste
    • Oyster Sauce or Teriyaki Sauce: A small amount
    • Cornstarch: As needed
    • Water: As needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef: Slice the beef steak lengthwise or according to your preference. Marinate the slices with lime or lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and a touch of seasoning powder. Add a small amount of oyster sauce for extra flavor.

  2. Coat the Beef: Dredge the marinated beef slices in all-purpose flour. Dip them in beaten eggs, then coat again with flour. Repeat this process to achieve a crispy texture, seasoning the flour with a bit of seasoning powder for added taste.

  3. Fry the Beef: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated beef slices until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  4. Prepare the Vegetables: Boil or fry the potatoes until tender. Similarly, cook the carrots, green beans, and sweet corn until they are tender. If you prefer, you can mash the potatoes for a different texture.

  5. Make the Sauce: In a separate pan, sauté the minced garlic and finely chopped onion until aromatic. Add sambal (chili sauce) and tomato sauce to the pan. Season with ground pepper, salt, and seasoning powder to taste. Stir in a small amount of oyster sauce or teriyaki sauce for depth of flavor. Gradually add water and stir in cornstarch little by little until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

  6. Serve: Arrange the crispy beef steak slices on a plate. Serve alongside the boiled or fried vegetables and drizzle with the savory sauce.
