Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 350 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 100 grams green beans, trimmed
  • 200 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose seasoning flour
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, to taste (for egg and flour mixture)

For the Marinade:

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ยฝ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Salt, to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 350 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (dissolved in a little water)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Black pepper sauce or ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Rinse the beef slices thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels. Flatten each slice using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
    • Mix the minced garlic, ground black pepper, oyster sauce, and salt together in a bowl. Rub this mixture onto the beef slices. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Cook the Vegetables:

    • Boil the sliced carrots and green beans in a pot of salted water until they are tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

  4. Prepare the Sauce:

  5. Assemble and Serve:
