- 1 whole duck
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1/3 cup vodka
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 cups water
- 6 slices fresh ginger
- Green onion (for garnish)
- Hoisin sauce (for serving)

Preparation:
- Wash and dry the duck inside and out.
- Rub salt into the cavity.
- Spoon vodka over the duck, ensuring it covers the entire bird. Let it marinate for 4 hours.
- Dissolve honey in water and rub it all over the duck, making sure to cover every part. Truss the bird and tie a cord around its neck. Hang it in front of an electric fan to dry for at least 4 hours.
