Sweet and Spicy Gurame Recipe
Ingredients:
- Fresh Gurame Fish (Ikan Gurame)
- Del Monte Chili Sauce
- 2 Fresh Tomatoes
- 3 Shallots
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 Onion
- 5 Bird’s Eye Chilies (Cabe Rawit)
- 1 Red Chili
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- Ground Pepper to taste
- 1 Spring Onion (Daun Bawang)
- Oyster Sauce

- Clean the gurame fish thoroughly and marinate it with vinegar, salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Let it sit for 20 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the fish.

- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated gurame fish until it turns golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.

- Blend the fresh tomatoes, bird’s eye chilies, and red chili until smooth. Set aside.
- Finely chop the shallots, garlic cloves, onion, and spring onion.
