Fry Bread:
a. In a bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, stirring to combine.
b. Gradually add the baking powder, flour, and salt to the egg mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
c. On a floured surface, roll out the dough very thin and cut it into desired shapes.
d. Make a slash in the center of each piece of dough to ensure even frying.
e. In a deep skillet or fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat.
f. Fry the dough pieces in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides, then transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. -
Once the fry bread is ready, it’s time to assemble the tacos. Layer each piece of fry bread with a generous portion of the cooked meat mixture, pinto beans, shredded cheese, crisp lettuce, and chopped tomatoes.
