Ayam Goreng Kremes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces of chicken (cut into parts)
  • Cooking oil (as needed)
  • Kremesan (crispy topping) โ€“ quantity as desired (refer to the previously shared recipe)
  • For the Spice Paste:
    • 4 cloves garlic
    • 1 piece of ginger (about 1 inch)
    • 1 piece of turmeric (about 1 inch)
    • 1 piece of kencur (about 1 inch)
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 2 tamarind slices
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 800 ml water

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Spice Paste:

    • Blend together garlic, ginger, turmeric, kencur, black pepper, coriander seeds, and salt until a smooth paste forms.
  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • Clean the chicken pieces thoroughly and drain well.
    • Place the chicken into a pot with the spice paste and add the water.
    • Simmer over medium heat until the water has evaporated and the chicken is fully cooked, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors of the spice paste.
  3. Fry the Chicken:

    • Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
    • Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  4. Serve:

    • Arrange the fried chicken on a serving plate.
    • Sprinkle with kremesan (crispy topping) for added crunch and flavor.
    • Serve hot and enjoy!
