Special Indonesian Omelette (Telor Dadar Spesial)

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 1 small red onion
  • 4 small Thai chili peppers (cabe rawit)
  • Salt and seasoning to taste
  • 1 large red chili pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Finely chop the green onions, red onion, and Thai chili peppers. If using the optional red chili pepper, slice it into thin rings or ovals for garnish.

  2. Mix the Egg: In a bowl, whisk the egg and combine it with the chopped green onions, red onion, Thai chili peppers, and the optional red chili pepper if desired. Season with salt and your preferred seasoning to taste.

  3. Heat the Oil: Pour a generous amount of cooking oil into a frying pan, enough to slightly submerge the omelette. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it is hot.

  4. Cook the Omelette: Carefully pour the egg mixture into the hot oil. Fry the omelette until it is cooked through and golden brown on the edges, turning it occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  5. Serve: Once cooked, remove the omelette from the pan and place it on a plate. Serve hot, and enjoy your delicious, crispy special Indonesian omelette!

Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness according to your taste by adding more or fewer chili peppers.
