Simple Tahu Bulat Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 block tofu
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning (optional)
  • 1 sausage (diced, for filling)
  • Oil, for frying
  • Sauce, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by gathering all the necessary ingredients and tools.

  2. Drain the Tofu: Wrap the tofu in a clean cloth or paper towel and press down gently to remove excess moisture. Ensure the tofu is thoroughly dried to achieve a crispy texture when fried.

  3. Mix the Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the dried tofu, egg, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and seasoning (if using). Stir the mixture until well incorporated.

  4. Shape the Tahu Bulat: Scoop portions of the tofu mixture and shape them into small balls. If desired, insert a small piece of diced sausage into the center of each ball before shaping.
