Tahu Fantasi, a delightful Indonesian dish, is a scrumptious combination of tofu, vegetables, and seasonings, encased in a crispy coating. Ingredients:
- 400 grams of tofu (approximately 5 large pieces)
- 1 large carrot
- 1 sheet of bihun (rice vermicelli)
- 1 stalk of green onion
- 1 stalk of celery
- 2 large eggs
- 1 sachet of Masako (seasoning powder)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
For the Coating:

- 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Bihun: Soak the bihun in hot water until it expands and softens. Drain well and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables and Tofu:
- Mash the tofu until smooth.
- Grate the carrot finely.
- Chop the celery and slice the green onion thinly.

- In a large bowl, mix the mashed tofu, grated carrot, chopped celery, and sliced green onion.
- Add the minced garlic, Masako seasoning powder, salt, and ground pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
