Crispy Krauk Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Marinade:
- 1/4 kg chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
For the Flour Coating:
- 6 small packs of all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour (medium protein)
- 1/2 cup ice-cold water
For the Sauce:
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 red chili, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 100 ml water
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For Frying and Garnishing:
- Oil for frying and sautΓ©ing
- Sesame seeds for garnish

Prepare the Chicken:
- Clean the chicken breasts and separate the meat from the bones. Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes.
- Marinate the chicken with black pepper, salt, nutmeg, ground coriander, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense flavor, marinate overnight.

Prepare the Flour Coating:
- Combine the all-purpose flour and medium-protein flour in a bowl.
- Dredge each piece of marinated chicken in the flour mixture, then dip it into ice-cold water. Shake off any excess water.
- Return the chicken to the flour mixture and coat it again, pressing gently to ensure the flour sticks. Repeat this process twice for an extra crispy texture.

Fry the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces in batches until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove the fried chicken and drain on paper towels.

- Add the chopped red chili, water, ketchup, chili sauce, teriyaki sauce, and sweet soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
