Risol Mayo Corned Beef

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of corned beef (preferably Pronas brand)
  • 250 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 250 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 sausages
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • Water, as needed
  • Mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and 1 egg. Gradually add water and stir until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.

  2. Cook the Fillings: Boil 3 eggs and the sausages in a pot of water until fully cooked. Once cooked, peel and slice the eggs, and cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Cook the Batter: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour a portion of the batter into the skillet and cook, flipping once, until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  4. Assemble the Risol: Place a cooked batter sheet on a flat surface. Spread a layer of mayonnaise over the batter. Arrange the sliced eggs, sausages, and corned beef on top.

  5. Bread and Fry: In a separate bowl, beat the remaining 2 eggs. Dip each filled risol into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry each risol until crispy and golden brown on all sides.

  6. Serve: Allow the risol to drain on paper towels before serving. Enjoy the crispy, savory treats warm.
