Easy Mendoan Tempe Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
All-purpose flour 250 grams
Salt 1 teaspoon
Turmeric to taste
Coriander to taste
Garlic 3 cloves, minced
Tempe 1 board
Green onions to taste, chopped
Water as needed

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except the tempeh, and mix well until smooth.
  2. Once the batter is well combined, coat the tempeh slices thoroughly with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot, then fry the coated tempeh for a brief period until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot, ideally accompanied by a spicy soy sauce with chilies for an extra kick.
