📝 Description: Serve these delicious crepes with sweet & sour sauce on the side or another of your favorite oriental sauces. You may serve these as an appetizer or part of a Chinese meal.

📖 Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
36 Chinese Egg Roll Wrap
3 Chinese cabbage
1 Water chestnuts
1/3 Green onion
1 Pinch of salt
3 cups Boiling water
2 tbsp Light soy sauce
1/4 cup Catsup
1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp Honey
1 Pork
1 Chicken
1 Egg
Lite olive oil

🔥 Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Chinese cabbage, water chestnuts, and green onion.

  2. Pour the boiling water over the mixture and let it stand for 5 minutes.

  3. Drain the mixture completely, ensuring all excess water is removed.

  4. Stir in the pinch of salt, light soy sauce, catsup, lemon juice, honey, and your choice of pork or chicken.

  5. Place about two tablespoons of the mixture onto each Chinese egg roll wrap.

  6. Fold up the bottom of the wrap, then fold in the sides, and finally bring down the top to create a roll.

  7. Brush the overlapping edges with the beaten egg to seal them together firmly.

  8. Carefully drop the rolls into approximately 1 inch of hot oil or use a deep fryer set to 350°F (175°C).

  9. Fry the rolls until they are crisp and golden brown.

  10. Drain the cooked rolls on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

These Chinese pork or chicken rolls are best served hot, alongside your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy their crunchy exterior and flavorful filling as a delightful appetizer or snack.
