Steam the Tempeh: Begin by steaming the tempeh until it’s soft. Once steamed, mash the tempeh in a bowl. You can either use a fork or a mortar and pestle to achieve a smoother consistency.

Blend the Aromatics: Finely chop or crush the garlic and shallots. Combine them with the mashed tempeh, ensuring the flavors are well incorporated.
