Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by mashing the white tofu in a mixing bowl. Grate the carrots and chop the spring onions into fine pieces. Mince the garlic until smooth.

  2. Mix Everything Together: In the bowl with the tofu, add the grated carrots, chopped spring onions, and minced garlic. Incorporate the two eggs and cut-up chicken meatballs. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.

  3. Season the Mixture: Add salt and mushroom broth seasoning to the mixture. Stir until all components are well combined.

  4. Prepare the Steamer: Grease a steaming mold or dish with a bit of cooking oil. Set up your steamer and bring the water to a boil.

  5. Steam the Mixture: Pour the tofu mixture into the prepared mold. Place it in the steamer and steam for about 30 minutes. Once done, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly before removing from the mold.

  6. Optional Frying: Once the mixture has cooled, you can refrigerate it or proceed to fry some portions. Whisk the egg whites in a bowl. Dip the tofu pieces into the egg whites and fry them in medium-hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
