Tahu Aci Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 pieces of tofu skin
  • 5 tablespoons sago flour
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 stalks green onions, finely chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Hot water, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Clean the tofu skin thoroughly and slice it in the middle to create a pocket. Set aside.

  2. Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the sago flour, all-purpose flour, chopped green onions, minced garlic, chicken bouillon powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Prepare the Batter: Gradually add hot water to the flour mixture, stirring continuously until you achieve a smooth batter. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

  4. Stuff the Tofu: Carefully spoon the batter into each piece of tofu skin, filling them until the batter is used up.

  5. Fry the Tofu: Heat a skillet with oil over medium heat. Avoid overheating the oil. Place the stuffed tofu in the skillet with the batter side down, allowing them to cook evenly.

  6. Cook Until Golden: Fry the tofu until it turns golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  7. Serve: Your Tahu Aci is now ready to be served. Enjoy this delightful snack hot and crispy!

This Tahu Aci recipe is a simple and delicious way to enjoy tofu with a crispy exterior and flavorful filling. Perfect as an appetizer or a savory snack!
