Red chili peppers 7 pieces
Salt 1 teaspoon

Garlic 1 clove
Shallots 2 pieces
All-purpose flour 200 grams

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Begin by frying the tofu until golden brown. Once cooked, carefully slice one side open and set aside.

  2. Make the Filling: In a blender, combine the red chili peppers, salt, grilled shrimp paste, garlic, and shallots, then blend until smooth. Sauté this mixture in a pan until fragrant. Next, add the bean sprouts, mixed vegetables, and soaked bihun, stirring in half a packet of Masako seasoning. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

  3. Stuff the Tofu: Spoon the sautéed vegetable and bihun mixture into each piece of fried tofu.

  4. Prepare the Batter: In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, water, and the remaining half packet of Masako seasoning until you achieve a smooth batter.

  5. Fry the Stuffed Tofu: Dip the stuffed tofu into the batter, ensuring it’s well coated, then fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
