Sweet and Sour Chicken (Ayam Asem Manis)

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 stalk spring onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sugar and seasoning, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Rinse the chicken pieces and cut them into bite-sized chunks according to your preference.
    • In a bowl, mix the chicken with beaten egg until evenly coated.
