  1. Prepare the Fish:

    • Soak the Gurame fish in the marinade for about 10 minutes.

    • Dissolve some cornstarch in water and add to the sauce to thicken it.
    • Continue to cook until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  3. Serve:

    • Place the fried Gurame fish on a serving plate.
    • Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the fish.
