Ingredients

All-purpose flour 1 ½ tablespoons
Rice flour 1 tablespoon
Tapioca flour 1 tablespoon
Tofu 2 pieces
Warm water As needed
Salt To taste
Cooking oil For frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rice flour, tapioca flour, and salt, stirring until well blended.
  2. Gradually add warm water, just enough to moisten the mixture; avoid adding too much since the tofu will contribute moisture.
  3. Once the dry ingredients are combined, gently incorporate the tofu, mixing until the texture is smooth and no longer sticky to your spoon or fork.
  4. Take about 1 tablespoon of the tofu mixture and shape it into a ball, then coat it lightly with the dry ingredient mixture to prevent sticking to your hands.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat. Carefully fry the tofu balls until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  6. Your delicious, soft Tahu Bulat is ready to be enjoyed! Serve it with your favorite sauce or sambal for an extra kick.
