Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Begin by washing the white tofu thoroughly. Once cleaned, mash it until smooth and set aside.

  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the bakwan flour with the mashed tofu. Add the eggs, dried anchovies, and sliced green onion. Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  3. Heat the Oil: In a deep frying pan or wok, heat enough oil over medium heat to submerge the fritters.

  4. Fry the Bakwan: Once the oil is hot, carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan. Fry the bakwan in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  5. Drain and Serve: Remove the bakwan from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Transfer to a serving plate.
