Broth Powder To taste
Green Onions (sliced) To taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mixture:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the tofu, cooked rice vermicelli, grated carrots, one egg (white only), mashed garlic, ground pepper, salt, sugar, and broth powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Prepare the Molds:
    Lightly grease the sakura molds or your chosen cake molds with oil to prevent sticking.

  3. Mold the Mixture:
    Fill the greased molds with the tofu mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.

  4. Steam:
    Place the filled molds in a steamer and steam for approximately 25 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  5. Brush and Fry:
    After steaming, brush the tops of the tofu cakes with the remaining beaten egg for a golden finish. Heat oil in a frying pan and gently fry the steamed tofu cakes until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  6. Serve:
