Rollade Tahu Murmer

Ingredients:

Tahu (tofu), mashed 10 pieces
Eggs 2
All-purpose flour 1 tablespoon
Tapioca flour 1 tablespoon
Carrot, diced small 1 piece
Green onions, sliced 2 stalks
Spices (to be blended)
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Shallots 2 pieces
Garlic 3 cloves
Salt to taste
Royco seasoning (or equivalent) to taste
Plastic wrap for wrapping

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu, eggs, all-purpose flour, tapioca flour, diced carrot, and sliced green onions. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Add the blended spices (black pepper, shallots, garlic, salt, and Royco seasoning) to the mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  3. Prepare a piece of plastic wrap and spoon the tofu mixture onto it, shaping it into a log. Wrap tightly, ensuring no air pockets remain, and twist the ends to secure.
  4. Place the wrapped roll in a steamer and steam for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until fully cooked and set.
  5. Once cooked, remove the roll from the steamer and allow it to cool. Carefully unwrap the plastic, then slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the slices until golden and crispy on both sides.
