Instructions:
- Prepare a large piece of silver foil on your work area.
- Create the bottom layer of biscuits by arranging 3 by 8 biscuits into a rectangular shape on the foil, ensuring the biscuits on the sides of the rectangle are lightly dipped in wine.
- Whip together the milk, pudding mix, and heavy cream until thick to make the custard layer.
- For the second row of biscuits, you have two options:
- Option 1: Dip 16 biscuits lightly in wine and place them over the outer edges of the rectangle.
- Option 2: Spread a small amount of the pudding mix on the outer edges of the rectangle and then cover with wine-dipped biscuits.
- Pour the prepared pudding mixture into the center of the biscuit rectangle.
- Using the foil, carefully lift the edges of the foil, lifting up the outer layers of the triangle, and bring them to a peak, forming a triangular shape.
- Close the foil tightly to seal the custard triangle.
- Refrigerate the triangle for a couple of hours to allow it to set.
- After the custard has set, melt the bittersweet chocolate.
- Release the foil and carefully cover the sides of the triangle with the melted chocolate.
- Let the chocolate set, then rewrap the custard triangle in foil.
- The custard triangle can be frozen for later use or stored in the refrigerator.
