  1. Prepare the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse:

    • Lightly grease a 9 1/4-by-5 1/4-by-2 3/4-inch metal loaf pan and line it with plastic wrap.
    • Place the pan in the freezer to chill.
    • In a medium saucepan, melt 11 oz of bittersweet chocolate, 4 tbsp of unsalted butter, and 2 tbsp of peanut butter over simmering water.
    • Set aside the melted chocolate mixture and keep it warm.
    • Using an electric mixer, beat egg yolks with 2 tbsp of sugar until well-blended.
    • Cook the egg mixture over medium-high heat until thickened, then whisk until it reaches room temperature.
    • Fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
    • In another bowl, whip 4 cups of heavy cream and 2 tbsp of sugar until soft peaks form, then fold it into the chocolate mixture.
    • Pour the mousse into the prepared loaf pan, smooth the top, tap to remove air bubbles, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  2. Unmold the Terrine:

    • Once set, remove the terrine from the loaf pan by lifting it with the plastic wrap.
    • Invert the terrine onto a rack and remove the plastic wrap.
  3. Prepare the Glaze:

    • Melt 4 oz of bittersweet chocolate and 1 3/4 cups of unsalted butter.
    • Whisk in 4 tbsp of light corn syrup.
    • Let the glaze cool for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
    • Pour the glaze over the terrine and spread it evenly with a spatula.
    • Refrigerate until set, approximately 15 minutes.
  4. To Serve:

    • Slice the terrine into 18 pieces using a hot, dry knife.
    • Place 3 pieces on each dessert plate.
    • Sprinkle toasted peanuts over the top and sides of the terrine.
    • Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and chocolate curls.
