Instructions:

Step Description
1 Combine almonds and brown sugar in a food processor or blender container.
2 Process or blend nut mixture one-third at a time until nuts are finely ground.
3 Transfer to a mixing bowl and stir in flour.
4 Add melted butter and stir until well mixed.
5 Press mixture evenly onto the bottom and 1 inch up the side of a 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom or a 9-inch springform pan.
6 Bake in a 325Β°F (163Β°C) oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
7 Cool crust on a wire rack.
8 While crust is cooling, bring whipping cream just to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
9 Whisk in chocolate until smooth, then whisk in liqueur or brandy if desired.
10 Cool for 30 minutes or until filling begins to thicken but is still pourable.
11 Spread marmalade onto the bottom of the crust.
12 Pour filling over marmalade.
13 Cover and chill for several hours or until the filling is firm.
14 Before serving, remove the side of the pan.
15 Garnish with whipped cream and candied orange peel curls.
