Beef Teriyaki for Students
Ingredients:
- 5 sheets of wood ear mushrooms
- 1 ounce enoki mushrooms (affordable at Hypermart)
- 1 ounce lean beef
- 1 ounce green beans
- 1 package egg tofu, sliced and fried
- 1 local carrot (local carrots are healthier and more affordable)
- 1/4 kg quail eggs
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons butter/margarine
- 2 packets of Saori teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 packet of Saori oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Aromatics:
- Heat the butter/margarine and sesame oil in a pan over very low heat.
- Sauté the chopped onion and crushed garlic until fragrant and slightly golden brown.

- Pour in 3 cups (400 ml) of water and stir to combine.
