Bakso Sapi Using a Blender

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of beef chuck
  • 3 tablespoons of tapioca flour
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (optional)
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Begin by chopping the beef into smaller pieces to facilitate blending. This will make it easier to achieve a smooth consistency.
  2. Prepare the Water:

    • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water has reached a rolling boil, turn off the heat and set the pot aside.
  3. Blend the Ingredients:

    • In a blender, first add the garlic and ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is finely processed.
    • Next, add the chopped beef and egg to the blender. Blend until you achieve a smooth, even mixture.
  4. Mix the Meat Mixture:

    • Transfer the blended mixture to a large mixing bowl. Stir in the tapioca flour, salt, ground black pepper, and baking powder (if using). Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is cohesive.
  5. Shape the Meatballs:

    • Using a spoon, form the mixture into small, round meatballs. Carefully drop each meatball into the pot of hot water.
  6. Cook the Meatballs:

    • Continue shaping and adding the meatballs to the pot until all the mixture is used up. Allow the meatballs to cook in the hot water until they float to the surface, indicating that they are fully cooked.
  7. Final Touch:

    • Once the meatballs have floated to the top, they are ready to be served. Remove them from the water and let them drain before serving.

Enjoy your homemade Bakso Sapi! These beef meatballs are perfect as a snack, in soups, or served with your favorite dipping sauce.
