Rosemary Chicken (Easy)
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped
- 1.5 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Rosemary powder, to taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Optional: a touch of honey for a golden finish
Instructions:
-
Marinate the Chicken:
- Rub the chicken breasts with lemon or lime juice, salt, black pepper, and rosemary powder. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
-
Chill:
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts and minced garlic into a plastic bag or container. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Cook:
- Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until fully cooked and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side depending on thickness.
-
Serve:
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite vegetables or side dishes.
Tip:
- For a beautifully golden and slightly sweet finish, brush the chicken with a small amount of honey during the last few minutes of cooking. This will give the chicken an appealing golden-brown color.
