Rosemary Chicken (Easy)

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or finely chopped
  • 1.5 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Rosemary powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Optional: a touch of honey for a golden finish

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:

    • Rub the chicken breasts with lemon or lime juice, salt, black pepper, and rosemary powder. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
  2. Chill:

    • Place the seasoned chicken breasts and minced garlic into a plastic bag or container. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Cook:

    • Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until fully cooked and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  4. Serve:

    • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite vegetables or side dishes.

Tip:

  • For a beautifully golden and slightly sweet finish, brush the chicken with a small amount of honey during the last few minutes of cooking. This will give the chicken an appealing golden-brown color.
