Quick Hard-Boiled Eggs in Just 5 Minutes (Gas Efficient)

Ingredients

Eggs 3-4 large
Water 50 ml (about 1 cm high)
Flat pan with lid (preferably non-stick) 1 unit

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the eggs into a flat pan, adding enough water to cover them to a height of about 1 cm.
  2. Cover the pan with a lid and turn the heat to high. Allow the eggs to cook for 2 minutes.
  3. After 2 minutes, reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is complete, turn off the heat but leave the lid on. Let the eggs sit undisturbed for 9 minutes to finish cooking in the residual heat.
  5. After 9 minutes, remove the lid, and your eggs are now ready to be peeled and served.
