Ingredients:
- 4 crabs
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 6 green cardamoms

- 2 green chilies
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 bay leaf

- 1 inch ginger
- 1 cup water
- Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Crab Extract:
- Clean the crabs, separating all the legs.
- Grind the legs with 1 cup of water until you obtain a thick extract.
- Strain the mixture to get a fine paste/juice consistency.
- Repeat the process a couple of times, ensuring a smooth extract. Set aside.

Cooking the Curry:
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Add a pinch of asafoetida powder and crushed garlic. Sauté until the garlic turns brown.
- Add the seasoning mixture of green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns, bay leaf, and fennel seeds. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Toss in turmeric and red chili powders, stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the prepared paste and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until aromatic.
- Once the mixture begins to simmer, add the crabs and pincers, ensuring they are submerged.
- Pour in just enough water to cover the crabs.
- Allow the curry to come to a boil, then add the crab extract.
- Let it boil for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Add freshly ground coconut, stirring well, and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for a burst of freshness.
