Sop Tahu Fantasi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 300 grams tofu, finely mashed
- 100 grams ground chicken
- 1 large egg
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 stalk green onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- Bouillon powder (optional, to taste)
- 10 quail eggs, raw
For the Soup:
- 1 packet of instant soup seasoning (“Racik Sop” or similar)
- 2-3 cups water
- Additional green onion, celery, and fried shallots for garnish
Instructions:
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu, ground chicken, egg, grated carrot, chopped green onion, minced garlic, ground pepper, and bouillon powder (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
-
Lightly grease your steaming molds or cups with oil. Spoon the tofu mixture into the molds, filling them about three-quarters full. Gently create a small indentation in the center of each mold and place a quail egg into the indentation.
-
Steam the filled molds for approximately 20 minutes, or until the tofu mixture is set and cooked through. Carefully remove from the steamer and set aside.
-
To prepare the soup, bring water to a boil in a pot. Add the instant soup seasoning and stir well until fully dissolved.
-
Add chopped green onion, celery, and fried shallots to the soup. Simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
-
Serve the tofu creations in bowls, ladle over the hot soup, and garnish with additional fried shallots, green onion, and celery as desired.
