Instructions:

  1. Preparation of Meringue
    Begin by beating the egg whites with an electric mixer or stand mixer until they form stiff peaks. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to beat at a medium-high speed until the mixture becomes thick, glossy, and holds stiff peaks.

  2. Prepare the Piping Bag
    Using a spatula, transfer the meringue into a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle. This will allow you to create the signature shape of the wreaths.

  3. Form the Wreaths
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then lightly grease the sheet with butter. Pipe the meringue onto the parchment in a circular shape, starting with a small center. Form a wreath by piping small meringue blobs around the center, creating a circular ring. For an additional decorative touch, continue piping in a circular motion to add more layers and texture to the wreaths.

  4. Drying the Meringues
    Once the wreath shapes are completed, place the tray in a preheated fan-assisted oven at 100°C (212°F). Leave the oven door slightly ajar to allow moisture to escape, and let the meringues dry for at least 3 hours. During this time, the meringues will become crisp and dry on the outside while remaining airy on the inside.

  5. Cooling and Decoration
    After the drying time, remove the meringues from the oven and let them cool completely. Once cool, decorate them with colorful satin ribbons or any other festive food decoration of your choice for a beautiful finishing touch.
