Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg beef liver, sliced thin
- 1/2 kg potatoes, sliced
- 3 shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 7 curly red chilies
- 1/2 ounce bird’s eye chilies
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- MSG to taste
- Sweet soy sauce to taste
- 2 stalks lemongrass, bruised
- 3 bay leaves
- 5 kaffir lime leaves
- 1-inch piece of ginger, bruised
- Turmeric powder as needed
- Cooking oil for sautéing

Prepare Ingredients: Slice the beef liver and potatoes thinly and set them aside. Crush the shallots, garlic, and chilies into a fine paste. Bruise the ginger and lemongrass and set them aside.
