Description:

Absolutely scrumptious! Definitely not low fat and it looks like ****, but it tastes great. I sometimes make mine in the crockpot when asked to bring it to a party and it works just as well. Enjoy! 🎉

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
2 Add the diced tomatoes, green pepper, and onion to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir well to combine.
3 Sprinkle the shredded monterey jack and mozzarella cheeses over the beef and vegetable mixture. Stir until the cheese is evenly distributed and begins to melt.
4 Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
5 Transfer the cheesy beef mixture into a casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
6 Bake the dish uncovered in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
7 Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
8 Serve the Mexican Flaming Cheese hot, accompanied by warm flour tortillas for dipping and scooping up the deliciousness!
