Description:
Absolutely scrumptious! Definitely not low fat and it looks like ****, but it tastes great. I sometimes make mine in the crockpot when asked to bring it to a party and it works just as well. Enjoy! 🎉
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
Instructions:
Step | Description |

1 | Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. |
2 | Add the diced tomatoes, green pepper, and onion to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir well to combine. |
3 | Sprinkle the shredded monterey jack and mozzarella cheeses over the beef and vegetable mixture. Stir until the cheese is evenly distributed and begins to melt. |
4 | Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). |
5 | Transfer the cheesy beef mixture into a casserole dish, spreading it out evenly. |
6 | Bake the dish uncovered in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top. |
7 | Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. |
8 | Serve the Mexican Flaming Cheese hot, accompanied by warm flour tortillas for dipping and scooping up the deliciousness! |
