Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
1 Water
1 Margarine
1 Butter
1 Powdered milk
1 1/2 White sugar
1 Salt
1/2 Dried parsley
1/2 Dry basil
2 Dried oregano
3 Garlic powder
2 Bread flour
1 Active dry yeast

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Place all ingredients in the pan of the bread machine, following the order recommended by the manufacturer.

  2. Dough Cycle: Select the dough cycle on your bread machine and let it work its magic.

  3. Remove Dough: Once the dough cycle is complete, carefully remove the dough from the pan.

  4. Grease Pan: Take a 9 x 5 bread pan and grease it generously.

  5. Rising Time: Place the dough in the greased bread pan and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, allowing it to double in size.

  6. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while the dough is rising.

  7. Baking: Once the dough has risen, transfer the bread pan to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  8. Cooling: Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  9. Serving: Slice the bread into 12-16 slices and serve fresh, or store for later use.

Tips:

  • For an extra kick of flavor, brush the top of the loaf with melted butter and sprinkle some additional garlic powder and dried herbs before baking.
  • This bread makes fantastic garlic toast when sliced and toasted in a pan with a bit of butter or olive oil.
  • Experiment with different herb combinations to customize the flavor to your liking.

Enjoy Your Delicious Creation! 🍴🥖
