Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, combine the soya sauce, water, rice wine, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and sugar. Whisk the ingredients together until the cornstarch and sugar are fully dissolved, then set aside to let the flavors meld.

  2. Toast the Sesame Seeds: Heat a dry wok over medium heat. Add the sesame seeds and toast them, stirring frequently, until they turn golden brown and fragrant. Once done, remove them from the wok and set aside to cool.
